Steve Cloud Continues Financial Support for Adam Taff

A RNC National Committeeman like Steve Cloud SHOULD be neutral in party primary races, but I guess Steve Cloud doesn’t care.

On p. 96 of 109 there were these entries:

54-year old Barbara Cloud and 55-year-old Stephen Cloud live at 13727 W 82^nd in Lenexa . Barbara always gives from home, while Steve gives from his IBT work address, which normally is PO Box 2982, SHAWNEE MISSION (for example see IBT’s PO Box address here; http://www.lubriquip.com/distrib/kansas.htm) . Is the use of “ Mission ” here instead of “Shawnee Mission” deception (or is it really a Mission address – since “Shawnee Mission” is the name for all the area post offices and a school district but not the name of any city?)

Barbara Cloud in early August 2002 gave $10,000 to her husband’s Johnson County Republican for Education Group. I guess the $20,000 from the Greater Kansas City Chamber PAC ran out (which of can be traced to $39,500 of money from the non-profit Bistate Arts and Sports group (http://www.kansasmeadowlark.com/PAC/JCRE/index.htm), which in turn had half a million from an unknown source according to their IRS 990 form, see http://www.kansasmeadowlark.com/IRS990/BistateArtsAndSports/index.htm). In the July 2002 reporting period over half of Steve Cloud’s JCRE money came from the Greater Kansas City Chamber PAC -- I guess it’s just a coincidence that Steve joined this group in 2002 (see http://www.kansasmeadowlark.com/Business/SteveCloudJoinsGKCChamber2002.pdf). In the October 2002 reporting period Steve received over half of his JCRE contributions from his loving wife!

So who is Bonnie L Cloud? Bonnie is Steve’s 82-year-old mom, who lives on N. Somerset Terrace in Olathe . (See http://kansascity.bizjournals.com/kansascity/stories/1999/06/21/focus7.html). Getting her mail at a PO box must be a real pain for her at her age (See http://kansascity.bizjournals.com/kansascity/stories/1999/06/21/focus7.html). At age 82 she seems to only make reports on the same dates that either Steve or Barbara. Could it be at age 82 Bonnie needs help in filling out these checks of political money?

One final point: Taff, Mainstream and Steve Cloud’s Johnson County Republicans for Education all like to use Talon Interactive for automated phone calls. Is this just a coincidence? What is Robert D Fulton’s connection in JoCo politics?
